A note about maiden names
Some married women in Sindhi homes change both their first and last names at marriage. For example, my mother’s maiden name is Jayanti Hathiramani; when she married my dad, she became Lavita Khemlani. In the T Family Tree, I’m happy to display whatever name is preferred by the family member. If you prefer your displayed name to be different than what’s depicted, please let me know.
About the family tree
The T Family Tree was designed by me (Sangeet) and Uncle Kishu Khemlani. Many thanks to my parents, my brother, and Auntie Kamoo Melwani. We hope that the tree is a fun and useful way of keeping our family connected. Suggestions, comments, and questions are always welcome. Enjoy!
